We’re having some interesting fun today.
Toys...important to the genre?
Craziest toy you've come across in your writer research?
Toys can be fun to write about. They can be used to test limits or spice up a scene.
Just for this Friday Frolic I looked up crazy sex toys on the Internet and howled at the results. There are some wild sex toys out there in the world for both men and women.
Two of the crazy toys I saw were the "Squildo", which is a dildo shaped like a squid complete with a penis head and tentacles coming out the back; and the Launchpad, which is a Fleshlight attached to an tablet so a guy can masturbate while flicking through porn clips.
I'm actually considering a short story featuring these two toys mostly to see how it would play out. I just don't know what to do with all those tentacles!
Now I'm blushing
I knew I'd get you with one of these posts. ;-)
Uhm, yeah, ahh, makes for an interesting bath toy and most have no clue what it really is.
Seriously, though, toys can bring fun to an area of life where habit can become boring and mundane. They can take the mental pressure of "performance" and allow a person to relax and rediscover their comfort. It's been said that sex is a major component of a relationship that without it a relationship is weakened or even doomed...whomever "they" are...but what if your life-health changes your sex life? Toys don't take the place of intimacy and emotional connection; however, they can bridge the physical need/connection.
I found out the other day that vibrators were invented after doctors complained of getting sore wrists while administering the cure for 'hysteria' to Victorian ladies. For hysteria read sexual frustration, and for cure read a ruddy good fingering.
Strange but true.
Thank you for dropping over, we appreciate it. Have a fun weekend and hope to you see next week.
