#MIHBlog ~ Talk Nerdy to Me ~ Virginia Nelson's take on Nerdy;)

Talk Nerdy To Me

A lot of people might find the curve of a woman’s leg, the sensuality of her smile, the mysteries in her eyes to be the definition of feminine beauty. Some might say a man is sexy because of his broad shoulders, kind smile, big hands or other traits. Me? I’m all about talking nerdy.

No, I don’t mean a person has got to be well versed on wookiepedia or know all of the X-Men origins, nor do I mean they have to have a degree in advanced nuclear science. I mean that uber sexy ability to banter and keep up with you. That awesome moment when, on a date or in a conversation, the other person just gets you—they don’t even have to agree with you, just get you.

I think that’s why I had so much fun writing about Lydia and Chandler in my recent MuseItHot release, Sugar On TopLydia isn’t a simpering female needing rescuing—she’s a strong, successful, and independent woman who doesn’t need a knight in shining armor to come rescue her. Chandler is a billionaire who remembers a simpler time…back when people weren’t daunted by the size of his bank account to the point of kissing his—er—stock market value.

When these two strong-minded characters meet, a battle ensues. Lydia is on the attack, sure she knows just what Chandler is looking for and determined to chastise him. Chandler is immediately attracted to both her mind and the lack of plastic to her look and gives as good as he gets.

Can these two find happy ever after with Sugar On Top?

Do you think it’s in his kiss…or between his ears? Readers, talk nerdy to me in the comment section below J

Blurb:

Some people have got to get real…

Lydia Tompkins isn’t looking for love. She’s annoyed. A dating site matching gold diggers with men willing to pay for their time? Thinking it will be a dash of reality in their pipe dreams of Stepford wives, she uploads a picture—and a piece of her mind—and never expects any serious responses.

Some people even want to…

Chandler Hawk remembers a time before the wealth. Finding the most appalling dating site he’s ever heard of while surfing the net, he clicks on it and finds the most real woman he’s seen in a long time.

A sugar daddy meets a woman who doesn’t need a man to take care of her and sparks fly. Can they find a happily ever after, with Sugar on Top?

About the Author:

Virginia Nelson spends her days chasing three very active kids around.  When she is not doing this, or plotting taking over the world, she likes to write, play in the mud, drive far too fast and scream at inanimate objects.  She can often be found listening to music that is far too loud and typing her next fantastic tale of blood, sex and random acts of ineptitude.  Romance, in Ms. Nelson’s opinion, is not about riding off into the sunset on the back of a horse with the knight in shining armor— it is about riding the dragon.  If the knight can keep up… well, that is love.

Banter is a must. Along with verbal give and take. My husband has told me that he fell in love with my brain and my wit. And I can say that my husband had me at the first cheesy joke and random fact. We still chat for hours after 10 years together.
